Florida (4-2) at Kentucky (6-1)
Saturday, 3:30 pm Eastern – CBS
SBG Global Opening Line: Florida -7, Total 63.5
Having just knocked off the #1 team in the country, Kentucky now faces the defending National Champion Florida Gators. The Wildcats have lost 20 in a row against Florida and will try and end that streak at home Saturday afternoon. SBG Global reports that early betting has the public taking the favored Florida on the Road.
Kentucky proved last week against LSU that they are for real as they upset the Tigers 43-37 in triple overtime. "It proved we're a team that obviously earns a lot more respect now," said quarterback Andre Woodson, "We've come a long way from being a doormat in the SEC to competing with the best teams in the SEC and getting some wins." Although Kentucky has a better record and is ranked higher, the Gators are the 7 point road favorite.
"Florida's a 7-point favorite and we just beat the No. 1 team in the nation?" Kentucky head coach Rich Brooks said. "How does that equate? It's pretty interesting stuff."
Florida has won their last 20 games against Kentucky but it will not be easy this week. The Gators are dealing with the tragedy of losing walk-on defensive back Michael Guilford who was killed when his motorcycle hit a curb at high speed. "It's a terrible tragedy," Florida receiver Percy Harvin said. "Our team's really in shock right now. It really hasn't hit us yet. A lot of us will be down. We've just got to lean on each other and lean on our teammates to get us through this tragedy."
SBG Global Current Line: Florida -6.5, Total 63.5
The game on Saturday could be a battle of quarterbacks as Woodson is now a Heisman Trophy Candidate while Florida’s Tim Tebow has also played well this season. Also of note is that Kentucky will be without leading rusher Rafael Little for the second straight game.
Here are the betting stats for Saturday’s game. The Gators are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games overall. The Gators are 4-10 ATS in their last 14 games as a favorite. The Gators are 4-11 ATS in their last 15 conference games. The Gators are 3-9 ATS in their last 12 road games. The road team is 7-3 ATS in their last 10 meetings but the Gators are 0-5 ATS in the last 5 meetings between the two teams.

College Football Betting Preview
Auburn (5-2) at LSU (6-1)
Saturday, 9:00 pm Eastern – ESPN
SBG Global Opening Line: LSU -11, Total 42
LSU looks to rebound from their first loss of the season as they host the Auburn Tigers on Saturday night. Many people still believe LSU is in the National title chase even with the loss to Kentucky last week. "I feel like it will work out for us. We're still in good shape," LSU defensive tackle Glenn Dorsey said. "We're not where we were or where we could be, but we still have a lot to play for." SBG Global reports that early betting has the public taking the underdog Auburn on the Road.
LSU is fourth in the BCS standings behind Ohio State, South Florida and Boston College. It is extremely unlikely those three teams will go unbeaten so if LSU runs the table they will likely still play in the title game. "We appreciate that position and understand that it puts us in a good position for the future, but we are paying little attention to it," LSU coach Les Miles said. "What we have to do is be our best football team and prepare to play a quality opponent. There is no time to hang your head."
Auburn comes into the game after getting a big win at Arkansas last Saturday. Auburn has now won at Arkansas and at Florida this season and is on an 8 game road winning streak in SEC games. "With this road schedule we've had, it was not looking good a couple of weeks ago," coach Tommy Tuberville said. "I don't know if we are good enough to get to Atlanta (for the SEC title game) or win in Atlanta, but the good thing is we are getting better." LSU has won 17 straight home games. The home team has won the last seven meeting between Auburn and LSU. The last three meetings have been decided by a total of eight points. Last year Auburn won 7-3 as both teams were ranked in the Top 10. "This is always a great game, one of the better ones in the conference," Tuberville said. "Even nationally, it's picked up a lot of interest. We always expect a tough, hard-fought game against LSU, especially when you go on the road. Their fans really get into it."
SBG Global Current Line: LSU -10, Total 42
LSU is ranked #2 in the nation in total defense, allowing 223.1 yards per game while Auburn is #9 allowing 279 yards per game. "I would say probably LSU has the best defense in the country," Auburn cornerback Jerraud Powers said. "So we're just trying to get to those guys' level."
Here are the betting stats for Saturday’s game. Auburn is 4-0 ATS vs. a team with a winning record. Auburn is 6-0 ATS in their last 6 games as an underdog. Auburn is 17-4 ATS in their last 21 games in October. Auburn is 20-8-1 ATS in their last 29 conference games. Auburn is 10-4 ATS in their last 14 road games.
LSU is 4-10 ATS in their last 14 conference games. LSU is 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games as a favorite. The home team is 5-1-1 ATS in the last 7 meetings between the two teams.
The Under is 5-0 in Auburn’s last 5 conference games. The Under is 8-1 in Auburn’s last 9 games as a road underdog. The Over is 4-1 in LSU’s last 5 conference games. The Under is 7-0 in the last 7 meetings between the two teams.
