NFL Betting Preview
Tennessee Titans (6-3) at Denver Broncos (4-5)
Monday, 8:30 pm Eastern – ESPN
SBG Global Opening Line: Broncos -1.5 , Total 38
The Denver Broncos will try and get back to .500 tonight as they host the Tennessee Titans in Monday Night Football. The Broncos are fortunate to be playing in the suddenly weak AFC West and with a victory tonight would tie San Diego for first place in the division. If they are to win tonight they will have to contain Vince Young and the Tennessee running game and also find a way to put up some points of their own. SBG Global reports that early NFL betting has the public taking Broncos at Home.
The Broncos have one of the NFL’s worst run defenses and will be facing a Tennessee running attack led by LenDale White and Chris Brown. Tennessee is averaging 139.8 rushing yards per game which is 4th in the league. "We keep working on it and hopefully we can continue to improve," Broncos coach Mike Shanahan said. "If you don't get good stopping the run, you're in for a long day, I don't care who you are." Last week against Jacksonville the Titans threw the ball 41 times because they got behind. They may not have that problem against a Denver defense that is giving up 4.8 yards per carry, tied with Oakland for worst in the NFL.

Denver will be trying to put up points tonight and will need running back Selvin Young to have another solid game. He rushed for 109 yards and his first career touchdown last week. Young has started two of the last three games in place of Travis Henry. The Titans may be getting back Albert Haynesworth tonight and he is one of their best run defenders. He missed last week’s game against Jacksonville and the Titans gave up a season-high 166 rushing yards. The Titans had not allowed 100 yards rushing in a game until last week. They will be looking to bounce back tonight against Denver. "We feel like we're a really good team, right up there with the best and a Monday night game is a chance to show everybody," defensive end Kyle Vanden Bosch said.
