The Jacksonville Jaguars may be the best team in the NFL that no one is talking about. They get a chance to change that on Sunday when they travel to Indianapolis to take on the Colts. With a win the Jaguars would tie the Colts for the top spot in the AFC South. "We know what's in front of us," Jaguars running back Fred Taylor said. "We know what's at stake." Earlier this year the Colts won at Jacksonville 29-7 so a win by the Colts in this game would virtually sew up the division. "Well, it is a big game," Indianapolis coach Tony Dungy said. "I mean you have to look at it that way. I think they've got to feel like if they don't win this game, they're going to have a tough time winning the division. We've got the tiebreaker edge right now. If we beat them, we'll have a sweep and it will be very tough for them." The Jaguars are playing well and with a healthy quarterback David Garrard they are scoring points. They are also third in the NFL this season with 138.5 rushing yards per game. "I think we can catch the Colts," Garrard said, "I think these guys are very hungry and we're determined this year. We have a lot of things going our way this year. Guys are showing a lot of ability to just concentrate on playing football. We need to do that this week because this is a big one coming up." Garrard has not thrown an interception in 209 attempts this season, setting a club record. His passer rating of 103.1 ranks 4th best in the league.

The Colts still have Peyton Manning and a potent offense although they have been missing wide receiver Marvin Harrison who is probably out again this week. Jacksonville has the league's fifth-worst pass defense, allowing 258.7 yards per game, and has only one sack over its last two games. The Colts are 5-1 in their last six home games against the Jaguars.

Cincinnati Bengals (4-7) at Pittsburgh Steelers (8-3)

The Pittsburgh Steelers will hope that the weather is better on Sunday than it was last week when they played on a field that looked more like a bog than a football field. The Steelers were able to slop their way to a 3-0 win over the hapless Miami Dolphins last week. This week may be more difficult against a Bengals team that can score. SBG Global reports that early NFL betting has the public taking Bengals on the Road.
Rain is in the forecast again for this weekend in Pittsburgh but the Steelers are not expected to make the same mistake of putting in new sod. Most of the Pittsburgh players don’t want the field replaced, regardless of how bad it gets since they don’t want to play on turf. Pittsburgh is 28-10 at home since 2003, but three of those losses came to Cincinnati.
The Steelers defeated the Bengals earlier this season at Cincinnati by a score of 24-13. Willie Parker rushed for 126 yards and a touchdown and Ben Roethlisberger threw for 230 yards and two TD’s in that game. Pittsburgh is one game ahead of Cleveland in the AFC North and a game behind the Colts for the 2nd seed in the AFC behind New England.

They will be facing a Pittsburgh defense that ranks first in the NFL in points allowed (13.2 per game) and yards allowed (229.2).
