NCAA Tournament Sweet Sixteen
Texas A&M (27-6) vs. Memphis (32-3)
7:27 pm Eastern
CBS
SBG Global Opening Line: Texas A & M - 3, Total 134.5

The Memphis Tigers will look to make believers out of the rest of the country as they take on Texas A&M in a Sweet Sixteen match-up. The Tigers still have a lot of doubters and come into tonight’s game as the underdog despite being the higher seed. The gambling public is also a nonbeliever with most early money at SBG Global going on A & M laying the points.

The big question tonight will be the status of Memphis’ leading scorer Chris Douglas-Roberts, who is nursing a sprained left ankle. Most people expect him to play but how effective he will be is the question. "Let's hope that Chris is healthy. If he's not, we'll figure it out and we'll play without him," head coach John Calipari said. "Let's go in with one thing in mind. We're going after people." The Tigers have nine players who average at least 10 minutes per game and seven who are over 20.

A year ago, Memphis had a No. 1 seed but lost to UCLA 50-45 in the regional finals. The Tigers haven't been to the Final Four since 1985, back when the school was still known as Memphis State.

Texas A&M is a 3.5 point favorite with a total of 134.5 at SBG Global.

Texas A&M plays suffocating defense and has a point guard in Acie Law that is a star in the making. Law is a finalist for the Wooden and Naismith awards, given to college basketball's best player. He led the Aggies in scoring, assists and steals this season. "He's developed a great talent," head coach Billy Gillispie said. "People ask how guys perform like that in the clutch. First of all, you have to be a really good player to do it time and time again. A bad or mediocre player might do it once, luck into it or whatever.
"A guy like Acie, you have to be very talented and you have to have great confidence. He has both of those things."

"I'm the leader of this team," Law said. "I can't get rattled or show that I'm kind of scared or panicking because everybody looks up to me. If I show that leadership, if I show that I'm not afraid, then the team will be at ease and we should be fine."

The Aggies are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 NCAA Tournament games. The Aggies are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 non-conference games. The Aggies are 26-10 ATS in their last 36 games overall. The Aggies are 20-8 ATS in their last 28 games as a favorite.

The Tigers are 8-2-1 ATS in their last 11 games as an underdog. The Tigers are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 neutral site games as an underdog.

The Over is 4-1 in the Aggies last 5 non-conference games. The Under is 5-0 in the Tigers last 5 NCAA Tournament games. The Under is 5-0 in the Tigers last 5 vs. the Big 12. The Under is 10-4-1 in the Tigers last 15 games as an underdog. The Under is 30-12 in the Tigers last 42 overall.

NCAA Tournament Sweet Sixteen
Pittsburgh (29-7) vs. UCLA (28-5)
9:40 pm Eastern
CBS
SBG Global Opening Line: UCLA - 3, Total 123

Two best friends match-up as head coaches tonight as Pittsburgh takes on UCLA. Pittsburgh is UCLA head coach Ben Howland's old team led by his best friend Jamie Dixon. Because of their friendship, Howland and Dixon said the only way they would ever play a game against each other was in the NCAA tournament. Howland was hired by Pittsburgh in 1999 and, in four years, rebuilt them into a national power. He has now done the same thing at UCLA. SBG Global reports that early betting puts the public all over UCLA laying the points.

Dixon has been even more successful at Pittsburgh than Howland was, going 105-29 in four seasons but, like Howland, never has gotten Pittsburgh past the Sweet 16 round. Howland has done even better at UCLA than he did at Pittsburgh, leading the Bruins to the national championship game last season. "This was inevitable," Dixon said, "We both said we weren't going to play against each other in the regular season, but we hoped it happened in the NCAA because you hope they win and you hope we win."

UCLA is a 3.5 point favorite with a total of 123 at SBG Global.

"This is how it all worked out," Howland said, "Everyone thinks the idea was to match Pitt and UCLA up because of my connection to Pitt, but it wasn't."

The Panthers are 2-7 ATS in their last 9 non-conference games. The Panthers are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 neutral site games as an underdog.

The Bruins are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games as a favorite. The Bruins are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 vs. the Big East.

The Over is 5-0 in the Panthers last 5 NCAA Tournament games. The Under is 5-1 in the Panthers last 6 neutral site games as an underdog. The Over is 7-2 in the Panthers last 9 neutral site games. The Over is 21-7 in the Panthers last 28 non-conference games. The Under is 10-4 in the Panthers last 14 games as an underdog. The Under is 7-1 in the Bruins last 8 NCAA Tournament games as a favorite. The Under is 12-3 in the Bruins last 15 NCAA Tournament games. The Under is 7-2 in the Bruins last 9 vs. the Big East.
