NCAA Basketball
Pennsylvania (6-5) at North Carolina (12-1)
8:00 pm Eastern
ESPN
Opening Line: North Carolina - 23

Second-ranked North Carolina looks for another blowout win when they host Pennsylvania tonight in their final non-conference home game of the season. North Carolina has won nine straight since its only loss, an 82-74 defeat to Gonzaga on Nov. 22. The last six victories have come by at least 20 points. The Tar Heels are also 8-0 at home. With such domination, SBG Global reports that ALL early money is laying the points with N. Carolina.

After allowing more than 80 points to four of their first six opponents, the Tar Heels haven't given up more than 69 in any of the last seven games and they've held the past four opponents to 52 or less. "We're starting to realize our potential and understanding when we execute offensively and defensively what this team is capable of," sophomore Marcus Ginyard said.

North Carolina hosts Florida State in its conference opener on Sunday. "We can definitely feel it," freshman Brandan Wright said. "There are not a lot of teams in this country that have 10 or 12 guys like we have. So practice is real competitive and we take pride in stopping people on defense and not letting guys score on us."

Penn has won only two of its last five games after starting 4-2. The Quakers (6-5) have played only twice since Dec. 9, beating Illinois-Chicago and losing to Seton Hall. Penn has won the Ivy League title the past two seasons.  The Quakers have lost 18 straight to ranked teams.  North Carolina leads the all-time series 3-2, but the teams haven't met since the Tar Heels won 113-82 in the first round of the 1987 NCAA tournament.

North Carolina is a 22.5 point favorite at SBG Global.

The Quakers are 10-2 ATS in their last 12 games following a loss. The Quakers are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games as an underdog of 13 point or more. The Quakers are 13-6 ATS in their last 19 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. The Quakers are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 road games.

The Tar Heels are 7-0 ATS in their last 7 games as a favorite. The Tar Heels are 7-0 ATS in their last 7 non-conference games. The Tar Heels are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 games as a home favorite. The Tar Heels are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games as a favorite of 13 points or more.

The Over is 5-1 in the Quakers last 5 road games. The Over is 6-2 in the Quakers last 8 non-conference games. The Under is 4-0 in the Tar Heels last 4 games as a home favorite. The Under is 5-2 in the Tar Heels last 7 games as a favorite of 13 points or more.
