Alabama has been great at home this season but they continue to struggle on the road. The Crimson Tide has dropped three of their last four games away from home this season. They lost 88-61 at Arkansas and 94-73 at Vanderbilt. Last season they went 3-7 on the road. Alabama is coming off a buzzer beating 78-76 at home Saturday against Georgia. Ronald Steele scored the winning basket as time ran out. "When you find yourself in a hole and you're down and you're struggling and somebody else is kind of having their way with you, you could easily shut it down," coach Mark Gottfried said. "Our guys never did that. They just kept competing the whole game.” The Crimson Tide has won seven straight against Auburn and that includes three road victories. Alabama leads the series between the teams 83-50, including 24-22 at Auburn.
Auburn is coming off an 87-76 to Mississippi State on Saturday. Before that loss the Tigers had gotten an 83-80 victory over Tennessee. "I think our kids felt confident coming here with a win over Tennessee," coach Jeff Lebo said. "We battled hard, the last couple times here it has not been a good experience. Our kids were disappointed about this loss." Josh Dollard led the Tigers with 19 points and Quan Prowell added 12.
Alabama is a 2.5 point favorite with a total of 145.5 at SBG Global.

The two highest scoring teams in the NBA meet tonight in Washington as the Wizards host the Phoenix Suns. The Suns come into the game having won 13 straight games. Last month the Wizards snapped the Suns' franchise-record 15-game winning streak. Washington defeated Phoenix 144-139 in overtime as Gilbert Arenas scored 54 points in that game. However, early betting has the gambling public at SBG Global all over the Suns laying the points.
Washington is the best team in the Eastern Conference at home with a 17-3 record. The Wizards haven't lost at the Verizon Center since Dec. 9th and have won four in a row overall. Washington also ended Dallas' 12-game winning streak Dec. 4. Washington is coming off an overtime win against Boston on Saturday in a game in which they blew a 21 point second half lead. Arenas had just 22 points in the victory. "We got lackadaisical," said Arenas. "They came back and made a great run, and we had to win it in overtime. We had to dig down deep. People were fatigued. But, like professionals, we came out and we got the win."
Phoenix is 29-2 in its last 31 games and has won five straight on the road. "We've had some breaks," coach Mike D'Antoni said, "but at the same time we've played good basketball, and we haven't beat ourselves in a lot of games. It's going to take somebody to play a great game like Dallas or Washington did to beat us." Phoenix is coming off a rout of Minnesota on Sunday 131-102. Amare Stoudemire had 25 points while Shawn Marion had 17 points and 20 rebounds.
