Opening Line: Suns - 10
A blizzard in Denver slowed down the Phoenix Suns and could have them a little bit weary tonight as they host the Washington Wizards. The Suns are looking for their 16th straight win tonight. The Suns were stuck in a downtown Denver hotel after Wednesday's game against the Nuggets was postponed by the blizzard. The Suns were hoping to leave on a chartered plane sometime in the afternoon today and return to Phoenix in plenty of time for the late ESPN tipoff tonight. SBG Global reports that even with the travel issues, the gambling public feels that at home – the Suns are too much to handle.
The Suns broke the franchise record of 14 straight wins set in 1992 on Tuesday in a win over Toronto. Amare Stoudemire had one of his best games of the season, scoring 28 points and adding 10 rebounds in only 28 minutes. Stoudemire has had nine double-doubles during the win streak. The Suns have won 12 of the last 14 home games against the Wizards.
The Wizards are coming off a 126-119 win over Sacramento on Thursday. Antawn Jamison tied season-highs with 33 points and 13 rebounds, while Gilbert Arenas scored 30 points.
