Kent State (5-3) at Duke (9-1)
7:00 pm Eastern
ESPN
Opening Line: Duke -15

Sixth-ranked Duke looks to complete a perfect homestand tonight as they face Kent State.  Duke will be trying to avoid looking ahead to Thursday’s game with Gonzaga at Madison Square Garden in New York. SBG Global reports that even with such a deep line, smart money is still pushing on Duke at home.

Duke has been very tough at home, especially on defense where they are allowing only 48.4 points per game.  Duke has not played since Dec. 9 due to exams. DeMarcus Nelson is leading the way for Duke averaging 14.7 points this season. "I feel great, my body is feeling great, and my mind is feeling great," Nelson said. "I think the biggest adjustment is just mentally - knowing where I'm supposed to be, knowing what kind of player that I am, and just playing to my strengths."  Duke has not gotten big numbers from their expected star Josh McRoberts who is shooting just 46.3 percent. "I'm really comfortable out there," McRoberts said. "Obviously, I'll get shots to fall eventually and everything else is coming along all right."

Kent State also hasn't played since Dec. 9 due to exams. Armon Gates leads Kent’s team with 12.0 points per game. The Golden Flashes have four players averaging in double figures.  Kent State has already played two tough opponents this season, losing at Ohio State 81-59 and at Butler in double overtime 83-80.

Duke is a 16 point favorite at SBG Global.

Duke and Kent State have met once, an 83-65 Blue Devils victory in 1974.

Kent is 17-5 ATS in their last 22 Tuesday games and 21-7 ATS in their last 28 games overall. The Golden Flashes are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 non-conference games but they are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 road games.

Duke is 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games as a favorite of 13 points or more.

The Under is 4-1 in the Golden Flashes last 5 non-conference games and the Under is 4-1 in the Golden Flashes last 5 overall. The Over is 5-2 in the Golden Flashes last 7 road games.  The Under is 11-2 in the Blue Devils last 13 games as a home favorite and also 11-2 in Duke’s last 13 non-conference games. The Over is 6-2 in the Blue Devils last 8 Tuesday games.

Los Angeles Lakers (16-8) at Chicago Bulls (14-10)
8:35 pm Eastern
NBA-TV
Opening Line: Bulls - 5.5

The Chicago Bulls look to keep playing well as they return to the United Center to wrap up their season series with the Los Angeles Lakers tonight.  The Bulls are 11-1 in their last 12 games and are coming off an overtime win over Atlanta on Saturday.  The Bulls will be happy to be back at the United Center, where they went 7-1 on an eight-game home stand before their win in Atlanta. SBG Global reports that to the betting public, the Bulls at home are too much to handle with most money going on the Bulls.

Chicago lost to the Lakers 82-72 on Nov. 19 but they are a much different team now. Kobe Bryant had just 18 points in that game but he has been red hot of late. Bryant had 45 points to go with 10 assists and eight rebounds in Sunday’s overtime loss to the Wizards.  Kobe is averaging 37.6 points in his last five games.

Los Angeles has won five of its last seven against the Bulls, but the teams have split their series the last two seasons. The Lakers are 3-4 on the road this season, having played the fewest road games in the league, while Chicago is 10-2 at home.

Chicago is a 5.5 point favorite with a total of 205 at SBG Global.

The Lakers are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games as an underdog. They are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games overall. The Lakers are 21-9-2 ATS in their last 32 vs. the Eastern Conference. The Lakers are 2-6 ATS in the last 8 meetings between the two teams and 1-4 ATS in the last 5 meetings in Chicago but the underdog in this series is 7-1 ATS in the last 8 meetings.

The Bulls are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 home games as a home favorite. The Bulls are 1-4-1 ATS in their last 6 vs. the Western Conference and they are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 vs. the Pacific.

The Over is 6-0 in the Lakers last 6 games playing on 1 day of rest. The Over is 10-1 in the Lakers last 11 games as an underdog. The Over is 7-1 in the Lakers last 8 Tuesday games and it is 12-2 in the Lakers last 14 overall.
The Under is 5-1 in the Lakers last 6 vs. the Central.

The Under is 13-5 in the Bulls last 18 vs. the Pacific and the Under is 6-0 in the last 6 meetings between the two teams.
