The Orlando Magic will try and fight through injuries tonight as they take on the Bobcats in Charlotte. Orlando has struggled in recent weeks due to injuries even though they have been playing at home. They play tonight’s game in Charlotte before starting another home stand. Even with the injuries and playing on the road, SBG Global reports that most smart money is on the Magic.
The Magic played without starters Jameer Nelson and Hedo Turkoglu on Monday and lost Grant Hill after just a few minutes with a knee injury. Coach Brian Hill said, "We've got some injuries and the guys are probably tired, but that's the way it goes in this league. We've got to play better."
The good news for Orlando is that Dwight Howard has been playing superb and he has been unstoppable against Charlotte in the past. He is averaging 16.7 points and 15.7 rebounds in nine previous games against them. The Magic have lost three of the last four road games against the Bobcats.
Charlotte is not playing well either. They lost their fourth straight and sixth of their last seven with last night against Cleveland. Rookie Adam Morison led Charlotte with 16 points but he has been horribly inconsistent all season. Emeka Okafor has averaged 16.8 points and 9.7 rebounds in six career games versus Orlando. Charlotte has the worst record in the Eastern Conference.

The New Orleans Hornets return home to the New Orleans Arena tonight for the first time since the home opener. 35 of their home games are in Oklahoma City with only 6 in the New Orleans Arena. The Hornets do not have an easy task tonight as they face the league’s best road team, the San Antonio Spurs and SBG Global reports that the gambling public is all over the traveling San Antonio Spurs laying the points.
"The people (in Oklahoma City) have been not just gracious, they've been wonderful," owner George Shinn said. "But it's just a situation that got down to what is the right thing to do, and the right thing is to go back. "I know there are questions (and) I'm tired of trying to respond or to try to say this or that. ... Our plan is to go back and to give every effort we can make to make this thing work. New Orleans opened the season 8-3, but has not played well of late although they did beat Cleveland on Tuesday in Oklahoma City. The big problem for New Orleans has been injuries. They were missing David West, Peja Stojakovic and Bobby Jackson on Tuesday.
